The ReBuild Ukraine conference will be held on 25 April as part of the upcoming edition of INTERMAT, in partnership with Business France, Premier Expo, the organiser of the ReBuild Ukraine exhibition in Poland, and INTERMAT.

The conference, aimed at construction and energy professionals, will address all the themes that are essential to strengthening Ukraine through reconstruction, presenting opportunities for French companies, investors and partners:

  • The vision of the mechanisms for the reconstruction of Ukraine
  • The restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, power generation decentralisation, the development of green energy and the formulation of future plans for Ukraine as a European energy hub.
  • Current support and financing programmes for Ukraine
  • Ukrainian regions and their projects
  • A look ahead to the conference to be held in Poland on 13 and 14 November.

10.00 – 10.20 am: introduction by the three partners: INTERMAT, Business France and Premier Expo for ReBuild Ukraine

10.20 – 10.50 am: addresses from Pierre Heilbronn, special envoy of President Macron for Ukraine’s Relief and Reconstruction, His Excellency Deputy Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine (to be confirmed), and Vadym Omelchenko, Ukrainian Ambassador to France.

10.55 – 12.30: round table dealing with a range of practical aspects around the reconstruction of Ukraine, hosted by Romain Desthieux, reconstruction project director at Business France, with contributions from Andrii Ivko, State Agency for infrastructure reconstruction and development in Ukraine, Lev Partskhaladze, Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, Kostiantyn Megem, representative of the Chernihiv region, and Mykola Boiko, representative of the Kyiv region.
