INTERMAT 2024 will be the opportunity to show visitors the remarkable breakthroughs and innovations achieved by French and international construction equipment manufacturers to successfully deliver the low-carbon transition.

For its debut in 2024, the New Technologies & Energies hub of expertise will address the challenges of both environmental and digital transformations, illustrating the energy efficiency of machinery and equipment, and offering visitors a deep dive into the low-carbon and connected worksites of the future.

A fifth hub of expertise geared towards the post-carbon future INTERMAT 2024 has adjusted its sector organisation, rearranging and finely tuning its product and solution offering around five hubs of expertise, with the creation of the New Technologies & Energies hub to offer centre stage to the cutting edge technologies that are today an integral part of construction equipment.

The new offering in the 2024 show is refocused around four pillars which will each offer highlights and developments in step with the four major challenges of construction, including that of Energy, at the centre of industry professionals’ concerns and expectations.

The New Technologies & Energies hub will be devoted to showcasing equipment that use new, alternative or renewable energy sources (biofuels, electric, hydrogen, etc.), decarbonisation solutions (electric retrofitting), virtual and digital engineering (augmented reality, mobile apps, BIM, Internet of Things, 3D printing, drones, etc.) energy storage solutions and autonomous vehicles, among others.

It will comprise an exhibition zone, the Start-Up Village with a dedicated space in which to present the stars of the future, an unprecedented forum area with nonstop talks, and a demo zone dedicated to low-carbon, and in particular electric, equipment.
